New Poll: Sabatini Leads District 7 GOP Primary Race

Melbourne, FL – State Rep. Anthony Sabatini leads the pack in the District 7 GOP congressional primary, according to a new poll conducted by RMG Research for U.S. Term Limits. Overall, 23 percent of likely GOP primary voters in CD-7 support Sabatini. Cory Mills also posted a strong showing with 16 percent support, followed by Brady Duke at 9 percent.

According to the poll, 93 percent of likely GOP voters in CD-7 favor term limits for members of Congress, with a supermajority favoring a three term House limit. Both Sabatini and Mills have signed the U.S. Term Limits pledge for a constitutional amendment limiting House members to three terms and senators to two. Duke has so far refused to sign the pledge.

“This poll shows that voters in District 7 want a pro-term limits candidate who will take on the Washington establishment,” said Nick Tomboulides, Executive Director of U.S. Term Limits. “It’s very encouraging that the leading candidates here have signed the pledge.”

In addition to Sabatini and Mills, CD-7 candidates Scott Sturgill and Erika Benfield have also signed the USTL pledge.

This RMG Poll of 300 likely voters in Florida has a margin of error of +/- 5.7%. RMG Research is owned and operated by Scott Rasmussen.
