Hot Wings and Hot Topics: Term Limits Discussion at Tarrant County College

WHO:
Texas Term Limits (part of U.S. Term Limits) is focused on using the citizen initiative as its most potent tool. The term limits movement is considered to be among the most successful grassroots movements in American history. U.S. Term Limits (USTL), based out of Washington, D.C., advocates for term limits at all levels of government. In 2016, USTL launched the “Term Limits Convention”, a new project to enact a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits. Under this approach, state legislators can enact term limits for the Congress in Washington and no member of Congress can stop them.

WHAT:
In collaboration with Tarrant County College, Texas Term Limits is hosting a non-partisan conversation about the Term Limit movement. Sean Grehalva, Southeast Legislative Director, will be leading the discussion with an eye to inform, educate, discuss and enlighten attendees on this important issue.
