U.S. Term Limits Thanks Representative-Elect Eugene Vindman for Signing Term Limits Pledge with Billboards in His District: Vindman Joins Over 150 U.S. Term Limits Pledge Signers In Congress

Washington, DC – U.S. Term Limits (U.S.T.L) is congratulating Representative-Elect Eugene Vindman on his victory in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District and thanking him for signing the U.S. Term Limits pledge with billboards in his congressional district.  The U.S. Term Limits pledge promises that the elected representative will co-sponsor the U.S. Term Limits amendment for congressional term limits.  The amendment calls for 6 years total in the U.S. House of Representatives and 12 years maximum in the U.S. Senate.  Vindman proudly signed the pledge during his campaign and has stated strong support for congressional term limits.  The billboards are located at RT 610 1 MI W/O I-95 Garrisonville.

“We want to congratulate Eugene Vindman on his victory in Virginia’s 7th District and his unwavering commitment to congressional term limits,” said Nick Tomboulides, Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Term Limits. “The billboards in his district thank him for his unwavering support of congressional term limits.”

“Congressional term limits is an American issue with strong support among voters of all political affiliations, with over 87% of Americans supporting congressional term limits.  Eugene Vindman’s election shows that deep support for term limits in Virginia”, concluded Tomboulides.  “We know now that he is elected, Eugene will be a champion for congressional term limits.”

Polling done by Pew Research shows that 87% of Americans regardless of political affiliation support congressional term limits.  This the highest percentage ever recorded.  Other polling is consistent with this, showing over 80% of Americans supporting congressional term limits.

U.S. Term Limits is the largest nonpartisan, nonprofit organization advocating solely on term limits. Our mission is to improve the quality of government with a citizen legislature that closely reflects its constituency and is responsive to the needs of the people it serves. USTL does not require a self-limit on individuals. Our aim is to limit the terms of all members of Congress as an institution. Find out more at termlimits.org.
